Campaign: The Die RPG - The Everbright Chronicles

  • Geeky Teas 900 West Alameda Avenue Burbank, CA, 91506 United States (map)

Be warned, dear Reader! These words are no mere fairy tale, they are an incantation!

Read at your own peril, for you may find yourself transported to a magical world much like our own, but oh so much more fantastical. A world of beauty and horror, a world of hope and heartbreak, a world of triumph and tragedy.

But take heart! In this world, much like our own, though the shadows loom large, the lantern light burns everbright.

Those are the words that preface every book of the beloved young adult fantasy series, the Everbright Chronicles (soon to be a major motion picture!). You are the estranged friends of the famed (and reclusive author) of the series, William J. Brighton (Bill Brighton to fans). You have a complicated relationship with these books. And each other. Most of you haven’t spoken in years, least of all to him.

One thing most people don’t know is that Everbright is based on the roleplaying campaigns you all played together as teens - a game you never quite got to finish when Will changed schools suddenly. Which means the story was a collaborative effort. The other thing people don’t know is that it’s all bullshit. The games were much, much darker.

Suddenly, many years later, each of you received a text from Will asking to meet up one last time and finish the game. That is where the story of the final chapter of the Everbright Chronicles begins.3

Together, you will all be transported into the world of your old friend’s imagination - or is it? What you thought was simple fiction, may indeed have been something else. And as your childhood is upturned and your memories transformed, will it bring you all closer together, or tear you apart? And once the story ends, with all the magic and power at your fingertips, will you even want to go back?
