Changeling the Lost: A Year in the Life

You were once a mortal - you had a job and a family and a “normal” life.

Then, they came and took you - you were tempted, tricked, or forced to enter Arcadia, the realm of the Fae, powerful alien beings that have fueled humanity’s dreams and nightmares for millennia. You have escaped and returned to the world of humanity, but your time in Arcadia transformed you into something different, more beautiful, more terrifying, more crafty - less human. You try to build a new life for yourself and continue to live between the two worlds, seeking the peace of mundane existence while preparing for the day your fairy “keeper” returns to try to take you back.

You made it back.  You accepted that you were free.  You found yourself friends and a home.  Now, it's time to see if you'll survive.  They say the first year is the hardest. If you can make it through that, you can make it through anything.

The terror and mysticism of Autumn.  The intrigue and sorrow of Winter. The revelry and desire of Spring. The warfare and wrath of Summer.

Just make it through the first year.

This Changeling the Lost (2nd Edition) Chronicle will once a month for one year.

No experience is needed to join this chronicle. During session 0, we will establish safety rules as well as create your Motley and Motley pledge.  The Motley will need at least one character from every seasonal court.

Content Warning: Abuse, trauma, questions of identity, persecution, body horror

Geist the Sin-Eaters: The Tolls of the Seleucids

You died but live still. You are a Sin-Eater - your pact with a Geist at the moment of your death allowed you to live on to resolve unfinished business for you - and for them.

For decades, your people have suffered through the Wars of the Diadochi, the “successors” to Alexander the Great who continue to fight over the lands of his empire. You and your fellow Sin-Eaters lead a cult of ghosts and mortals in the aspiring kingdom of Cappodocia. You help the living and dead to navigate the tolls of war and subjugation. But now a new threat arises, a dark necromancy that threatens your lands. How can you protect the people from this threat and find peace?

This story deals with themes of war, oppression, death, and the hope for a better future.

This Geist the Sin-Eaters (2nd edition) chronicle will run on the third Saturday of the month 12:00-4:00 pm Pacific time on Discord for a full season (September-May).

No experience is needed to join this chronicle. During the first session in September (session 0), we will establish safety rules as well as the mission of your cult (krewe) and develop the setting in which the story will take place based on your characters.
